BREAKING. Former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, his former personal assistant Michael Oyamo, and former Migori County official Caspal (Casper) Obiero have been found guilty of the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno. The judgment was delivered by the High Court in Nairobi on Thursday, bringing to a close a case that has drawn national attention since Sharon's abduction and murder in September 2018.  Justice Cecilia Githua ruled that the prosecution had proved the murder case against the three accused.

The reported killing of two PP2 girls in Suneka, Kisii County has sparked widespread shock and grief. According to initial reports circulating locally, the two young girls allegedly went missing before their bodies were later discovered stuffed inside sacks and dumped in a banana plantation. Police officers and detectives are said to have secured the scene and launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Authorities are expected to conduct post-mortem examinations to determine the exact cause of death and whether the children were sexually assaulted. At this stage, investigators have not publicly confirmed the motive or announced any arrests.  Residents reportedly gathered at the scene in large numbers, demanding swift action from security agencies. Community leaders and parents have called for a thorough investigation and speedy justice for the victims, while urging anyone with information that could assist detectives to come forward. 

HOMABAY: The body of unidentified person has been found in a maize plantation in Ndiru area, Kagan. Police have collected the body and launched investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
